Activity directions of Legal Aid Administration, which ensure implementation of assigned functions and tasks, are the following:
· in cases, determined by normative acts, to ensure recovery of state budget resources, paid out for state guaranteed legal aid and state compensations.
To ensure execution of functions, the Administration performs the following tasks:
· examines applications for request of state guaranteed legal aid and takes decisions on allocation of state guaranteed legal aid or refusal to its allocation;
· examines requests for state compensations and takes decisions for payments of state compensations or refusal to pay them out;
· pays out resources, which are intended for legal aid, to legal aid providers;
· pays out resources, which are intended for state compensations, to victims;
· examines applications of persons for obtaining status of state guaranteed legal aid provider, and concludes contracts with legal aid providers;
· in cases, determined by normative acts, recovers recourses of state budget, which are paid out for provision of legal aid and in compensations to victims;
· maintains Register of state guaranteed legal aid and state compensations.
